No, my fingers aren’t broken…

I hope that there are still folks checking in to see how Riley is doing even though Dad has been a bit ‘slack’ shall we say with his updates. Ceteris paribus (if you aren’t a student of the Latin language or Economics you may have to Google that!) 2007 is shaping up to be a good year. NC, which is normally a magnet for things like ice storms, was spared the nasty winter weather of early 2007, we hope that our friends and family didn’t have too much trouble from El Nino, the Jet Stream and Mother Nature!
We had a great time catching up with everyone in WV and MI over the holidays – and somehow we were able to fit all of our gear and Riley’s presents in the Tribeca without too much trouble. We were glad to have the extra room in the new Subaru, even if we didn’t have too much bad weather to test out the safety features and AWD. We did encounter some serious fog on the way home in the mountains, mainly in West Virginia – but luckily it didn’t last for too long.
Baby Boo is on her third ear infection – so far we are still trying antibiotics to fight the infection, but we may be making a trip to the Ear/Nose/Throat specialist if the infections keep recurring. Riley is pretty amazing though – even though she feels bad, she’s in good spirits the majority of the time (especially once the antibiotics have kicked in). She continues to sleep through the night most of the time, and is discovering things like her toes and feet which is just fun to watch and experience for Mom and Dad. Her laugh and giggles are very welcome and important parts of our lives now 🙂
We’re working on updating pictures from the holidays and New Year and we will provide an appropriate notice when they are ready. (Update – here are the latest pictures!) We hope that 2007 has started off in a good and positive way for all of you – and we hope that you continue to check back in with Riley’s site to see how she’s growing up.

Riddle #1…”all other things being equal”!!!!! Ha ha…how was that godson?? :>)
Thanks for the new pictures…I was just getting ready to email and complain that it had been 3 weeks with no new pictures. I love all the 4 generation pictures…they are really something to be treasured. Love, Aunt Nancy

Nice work Aunt Nancy! As Ed McMahon would say…”You are correct!” We are doing our best to get back on track with the pictures and updates, it’s hard to keep up with the rapidly growing baby at times. Thanks for the comment, hopefully you wont’ have to wait another 3 weeks for some new content.
